Veyrier-du-lac is a pretty village that basks in the sun on the east side of lake Annecy at foot of Mont Veyrier (4195m).The campsite lies by the edge of the lake,alongside the beach(which is supervised throughout july and august).There are forest walks,with numerous marked trails.The mountains offer fine walking and climbing at high and middle altitude.
